Welcome to Women’s Circus!
Women’s Circus is located in Footscray Melbourne, and works to empower people of marginalised genders to shape community and culture through circus. We run a social circus program with classes for ages 2+. You can view and download the full time table HERE. Head to the classes page to book in!
What’s New?
⭐ New Crew
Our signature 6 month intro to circus course is back! With only 2 intakes a year, New Crew runs over Term 3 and Term 4 and is the best way to jumpstart your circus journey. Never tried circus? Back from a break? Want to get to know what Women’s Circus is all about? Then New Crew is for you! We also have a New Crew Test Drive coming up on 1 July for you to try the class before booking into the course. So what are you waiting for?
⭐ Clowning and Physical Comedy
By popular demand, we’re bringing you a clowning class on the timetable! Build your skills in clowning and comedy or just have a hilarious time with your friends each week!
⭐ Flexibility
Finally achieve your flex goals, whether that be doing the splits or touching your toes! As we get older, improving and maintaining our flexibility can be a wonderful way to care for our bodies. Meet weekly and go at your own pace.
⭐ Handstands Beginner-Intermediate
Whether you want to improve your existing handstand or finally get upside down for the first time, this class is for you! Prepare to build your wrist and shoulder stretch by doing exercises and drills to help you achieve a handstand, along with general strengthening and conditioning.
⭐ NEW for the little ones: Aerial Explorers for 11-12yrs!
This brand new class for 11-12yrs of a marginalised gender focuses specifically on aerials including lyra, hammock, silks, and trapeze! A perfect stepping stone to our Teen classes or great for those who want to focus on aerials.
