Small Acts of Resistance opens next week! 😱🤩 Through circus, live music and spoken word, this 13 strong ensemble of women and gender diverse people in their 50s, 60s and 70s will explore the need for hope in a world where protest and the voices of the disenfranchised are continually ignored.

The world seems stuck in repeating the mistakes of the past. However there is always hope - slivers of light shining through the cracks of the facade.

Poignant, humorous and joyful, Small Acts of Resistance is a celebration of our older generation and an opportunity for us to listen to, applaud and admire this eclectic and esteemed cast and their stories.

Do not miss this show, 4 nights only at Gasworks Arts Park for Midsumma Festival. Expectation defying, you will leave hopeful, inspired, and with a new appreciation what it means to be alive and striving for change.

January 26 is not a day to celebrate. It is a day to acknowledge the deep and ongoing impacts of colonisation on First Nations peoples. It is a time to recognise the land on which we live, work, and gather land that always was, and always will be, Aboriginal land.

Together, we hold space for truth-telling, healing, and change.
