Small Acts of Resistance
A Poignant Journey Through Hope, Humour, and Humanity

Coming to Midsumma Festival this February, Small Acts of Resistance is the brand new circus show from Women’s Circus, co-presented with Gasworks Arts Park and Midsumma.

This fierce and joyful work directed by Kate Fryer (Dislocate, Circus Oz) is performed by an incredible female and gender diverse ensemble all in their 50s, 60s and 70s. Blending circus, live music and spoken word, Small Acts of Resistance explores the need for hope in a world where protest and the voices of the disenfranchised are continually ignored. Watch as this powerful cast embraces both the gravity and joy of what it means to be alive and striving for change.
