KATE SHERMANS PHYSICAL THEATRE & COMEDY SHORT COURSE

Interested in developing your circus tricks into more than just tricks?

Kate Sherman Graduated from National Institute of Dramatic Art in (2005) after completing a Bachelor of Acting. Her career however is now primarily based in physical theatre and Clown. Before NIDA she trained with Legs on the Wall (Sydney’s most renown Physical Theatre Company) from 2000 and then returned to training and working with them in 2006. Kate brings a unique blend of experience and way of working.

This is a 5 week workshop open to all types of skills ground and aerial.

Times and dates: Saturdays 3-5pm 26 May - 16 June (4 weeks) at Drill Hall
Cost: $100 Women’s Circus members / $110 Non-members

KIDS PHYSICAL THEATRE WORKSHOPS IN TERM 3

A brand new and exiting new course starts at the Women’s Circus.

Jens Altheimer is a European circus and Theatre Performer and Director of Squaring the Wheel Tziing! – Boing! – Kerplunk! Ingenious contraptions and has long experience in conducting workshops for children. Jens will run an Introduction Course for 9-13 years olds to learn new circus skills and work on their performing skills.

When: 17 July- 14 August on Tuesdays 4:30pm-6:30pm
